Yes, when using a 52 mm panel or glass unit with krypton, the Ud value (door thermal transmittance) can drop below 0.9 W/m²K, meeting energy-efficient housing standards.
Will the profile withstand frequent opening?
Absolutely. Class A (3 mm wall) provides a "meaty" base for hinge mounting. Hinges do not loosen over time, as happens with thin-walled economy class profiles.
What threshold is used?
We use a combined threshold (aluminum + plastic) with thermal break. It is only 20 mm high, convenient for passage, yet does not freeze thanks to the thermal insert.
Can a door with full-height glass be made?
Yes. Thanks to powerful reinforcement, Veka Softline 82 allows making fully glazed entrance doors. Safe laminated or tempered glass is used as part of a warm unit.
