The increased depth is necessary to accommodate the extended thermal break zone and install extra-thick glass units (up to 68 mm) that physically won't fit in standard systems.
How different is it from 75.SI+?
The thermal insulation difference is significant: Uf for the 90 series is 0.71–1.0 versus 0.9–1.3 for the 75. This is critical for passive houses where every Watt of loss counts.
Won't the room be dark due to wide frames?
No, Schüco engineers kept the visible frame width (frame+sash) at 117 mm, comparable to standard windows. The light opening doesn't suffer.
Can it be combined with doors?
Yes, the system is fully compatible with the ADS 90.SI door series, creating a unified thermal envelope for entrance groups and terrace exits.
Won't the window freeze at -40°C?
Impossible. The foam thermal bridge technology was developed specifically for extreme conditions and ensures the temperature on the inner profile surface stays above dew point even in severe frost.
What's the maximum noise protection?
