Veka Softline 76 entrance doors represent the evolutionary development of door systems, combining Veka's classic reliability with modern energy-saving requirements. Thanks to the increased 76 mm installation depth and five-chamber sash construction, this door significantly exceeds standard 70 mm systems in thermal insulation. This is the ideal solution for energy-efficient cottages: the powerful profile allows installation of door panels and glass units up to 48 mm thick, creating an insurmountable barrier against frost.
Like the entire flagship lineup, the system is manufactured to Class "A" standard (3 mm wall). Combined with massive closed reinforcement and special welded corner connectors, this provides the door with phenomenal stability. The sash does not deform under its own weight or from heating in the sun, which is especially important for colored laminated doors. The system comes with a thermally separated threshold that prevents freezing in the floor zone.

Is it worth paying more for 76 mm instead of 70 mm?
For an entrance door in a private home — definitely yes. You get the ability to install a warmer and thicker panel (48 mm vs. 42 mm) and a more rigid structure, which is important for security and durability.
Can a door with concealed hinges be made?
Yes, the Softline 76 system is compatible with modern concealed hinges (design hinges), giving the door a minimalist and expensive look while also improving air-tightness (seal is not pinched).
Is the threshold reliable?
The threshold is made from a combination of aluminum and impact-resistant plastic (thermal bridge). It is not afraid of heels, de-icing chemicals, and temperature fluctuations, while effectively blocking cold from outside.
Can an electronic lock be installed?
Yes, the profile allows integration of any access control systems: electromechanical locks, fingerprint scanners, keypad panels, or smartphone opening.
Is it suitable for colored doors on the sunny side?
Yes, but with conditions. Thanks to Class A and powerful metal, Veka 76 handles heating better than others. However, for dark doors on the south side, we recommend using special "cool" films (Cool Colors) or aluminum cladding.
What is the burglar resistance class?
The profile and reinforcement design allows certification to RC2 or even RC3 class, provided appropriate hardware is used and the glass unit/panel is bonded.
